Saturday's training consisted of a bike ride on Blevin Loop over Cat Pass, with a trek over cat two times.

Equipment Note:

#1 Tubeless tire need to run a sealant that needs to be replenished every 8 weeks or so.

#2 Clipped pedals work much better than toe cages when it comes to pedaling efficiency. In relation to the Crank Borthers Egg Beaters, taking some material off of the shoe clip with a grinder will make the clip release at less of an angle with less pressure. I've been riding the cages since I ate it multiple times on the Sedona ride, but I miss the clips. Sooo, I'll give them another shot. Hopefully I don't die.

#3 Start researching bike / helmet / head light systems. I would suggest that this is the next piece of equipment we should start looking at. Having a bike/helment/head light will expand our training options. In the summer, the earlier, the better.

Anyway, for Saturday, I am looking at doing some land nav. Have your compass and protractors ready.
